This website is dedicated to the restoration & preservation of our 1875 Eastlake (Stick Style)Victorian home.  Please feel free to browse around.  This is not a "This Old House" kind of restoration like you see on TV.  We did almost all of the work ourselves, out of the sheer love of it. (frankly, we couldn't afford to pay someone to do it, so...)

I have this very old pewter beer stein that has been in my family for generations.  The folklore is cool that goes with it, but I would like to know the truth behind it's origins.  If there is anyone reading this that may have a clue even where to take my search for facts, I would sure appreciate the help.
